With the hiring of Samuel Gruen as Bond Portfolio Manager, Rothschild & Co Asset Management is strengthening its investment team in a core area of expertise covering all Fixed Income and money-market products.
In charge of credit risk management, Samuel will report to Emmanuel Petit, Head of Fixed Income. He will draw on his expertise on derivative products to manage credit risk of the entire Fixed Income product range. Samuel will be mainly involved in the portfolio management of funds such as R-co Conviction Credit Euro, as well as R-co Valor Bond Opportunities on relative value credit strategies.
Coming on the heels of the success of its Fixed-Income funds range, especially the maturity funds R-co Target 2026 HY and R-co Target 2028 IG, as well as its flagship R-co Conviction Credit Euro fund, which achieved more than 1.2 billion euros in inflows in 2023, this hire marks an additional step in Rothschild & Co Asset Management’s strategic expansion in this asset class.
