As a sponsor of the Polar Pod expedition and as part of its engagement towards responsible investment, Rothschild & Co Asset Management Europe is now earmarking part of the management fees of its "4 Change Climate" range to fund this extraordinary scientific project.
As of the 3rd of May 2021, Rothschild & Co Asset Management Europe will donate to the association Océan Polaire1, 0.15% of R-co 4Change Climate Equity Euro and R-co 4Change Climate Credit Euro’s net assets per year to the Polar Pod expedition, a scientific maritime exploration with the technological challenge to study the Southern Ocean surrounding Antarctica.
This expedition will support "real-time educational projects" amongst the general public and students on a wide range of topics: life, earth and environmental science, construction technology, renewable energy, climate science, marine biodiversity, entropic impact, with relays in science museums, universities, schools and companies.
